Our energy? We derive it from nature – both literally and figuratively. Electricity is an indispensable source for the production. Fortunately, since 2016, we have had our own green energy source in our backyard: the wind turbine.

100% Dutch wind energy

All elho products are made from 100% Dutch wind energy. 

Solar panels

Since 2022, 9,000 solar panels have been installed on the roof of our logistics centre, with a capacity of 4.2 megawatts, providing solar energy daily. Any surplus energy can even be stored in a 1 megawatt mega battery.

Bee colonies

A number of bee colonies also reside in our green garden. While they don’t produce pots, we recognize how important they are for nature – and for us. Through innovation and green initiatives, we give back to nature.
