We all – or at least most of us – love a glass of wine or two. But when sipping you probably don’t think about the process that brought it to your table—let alone the waste left behind after the harvest. Did you know, for example, that plastic strings are used to support the grapevines as they ripen in the sun? Considering the vast amount of wine produced worldwide, that adds up to a significant amount of plastic. To be precise, 340,000 kilos - and that in France alone.
Help us to prevent agricultural pollution
With our “waste collections” we try to show off the beauty of waste. For our winery collection, we’ve partnered with French vineyards in the Alsace and Champagne regions to give those plastic strings a new life. They’re collected and 100% recycled into a stunning range of indoor pots available in two rich wine tones: a warm purple and a deep Bordeaux red. Mix and match with four different sizes (14, 15, 18, and 22 cm) to give your interior a warm touch.
